Raja S. Mehdi is a board-certified medical oncologist. He has dedicated his career to cancer treatment since completing his fellowship in Medical Oncology, at the Providence Cancer Institute in partnership with the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Mehdi is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

He has been in practice for over five years at the Comprehensive Cancer Center, St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, KS, and is ranked among Americas Top Oncologists for the years 2008 and 2009. Furthermore, Dr Mehdi is committed to advancing cancer research, and has collaborated with Cancer Trials Support Units (CTSU), on several phase II and phase III clinical studies, funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Mehdi concluded his residency in Internal Medicine at Case Western Reserve University, St Vincent Hospital in Cleveland, OH, where he had the honor of being appointed chief resident. Dr. Mehdi is also board-certified in Internal Medicine and is a medical graduate of the prestigious Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan.

Dr. Mehdi recently relocated to the Las Vegas valley with his family. His wife is a University of Kansas School of Law alumna and teaches health care law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The couple is blessed with a daughter and a son. They hope to see their children raised in an era where cancer care and research will help lessen the impact of cancer for families across the world.
