Gary Allen Palmer, MD

After graduating from Stanford University School of Medicine, he completed residencies in Medicine at Boston City Hospital and at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology. Dr. Palmer holds an MBA from University of California, Davis, in Sacramento, a master’s degree in Public Health from UCLA and a juris doctor from Concord University in Los Angeles, Calif.

Dr. Palmer brings a wealth of experience and expertise. He has served in various medical director and chief medical officer positions for clinical laboratory and drug development companies and cancer care providers, and he has served patients as a medical oncologist in community oncology settings.

Deeply committed to clinical research, Dr. Palmer has overseen numerous clinical development and investigator-initiated studies and has been published in several prestigious journals. His most recent faculty appointment has been as Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Medicine.

An avid runner, Dr. Palmer has completed one marathon and many half-marathons and 10k races. Dr. Palmer’s personal accomplishment is being a five-time winner on the television program Jeopardy and semi-finalist in the Tournament of Champions.
